This is a very good card building game. It's not easy to balance gameplay that relies heavily on strategy, and there's clearly a lot of passion for these kind of deck builders. My only criticisms is really just still for making the screen less busy either by hiding the player's hand or making card descriptions hidden until checked. Since Inscryption was mentioned as an inspiration for the game, maybe in the future there could also be hidden lore/ARG elements integrated into gameplay.

The playing mat and UI is nicely done and matches what you would expect from proper mobile games. The complexity and strategy of the game is super intriguing and improves replay-ability. The reason for playing the game and the continuous nature of the game seems rewarding through being able to obtain new cards and makes the player think about what is best or how they want to play. Tracking the turns is a nice addition. For possible revisions, adding a clear roadmap for the game would be nice for the player experience.

The art for the cards looks well-made and polished. The animations are simple yet elevates the feel of the game. The music fits well with the sprites and overall feel of the game. The mechanics are well made introducing a new playing experience per round and allowing the player to build towards different decks each time they play. Well done!

Anna Teng: I love the mechanics of the game and I love the idea of having multiple decks, each with their own perks that allows for different play styles! It is implemented really well and everything is easy to understand. I also love the idea of giving players new cards as a reward system it works really well! Overall I really like it!

Anik Barua: Unique concept! loved the whole game play. The animations with each card looks really good. Its sprites looks polished and the background score really elevates the gameplay experience.  Great work!

Heejin Jang: I enjoyed playing this game! The animations and effects are really smooth. UI design is simple but has all the information necessary for the player! Loved the game!!

Ashley Liu: I like how the game requires strategy! I think the 'next' and 'end' buttons aren't that necessary and could be replaced with a timer instead which could also help ramp up the difficulty in later stages by limiting the player's thinking time.

Yilin Zhao: This is a really nice try on card games! I've always find card games confusing so it's really nice that you have an effective tutorial. The attacking effects are well and reasonably designed, and make this game fun to play. The mechanisms behind card games shouldn't be easy to design and implement but you really did a good job! It kind of changes my perspective toward card games so I may want to try more card games in the future.

Shangyu:
I really enjoy this card game, as it has a strong logical aspect and is a great way to spend my leisure time. The gameplay is fun and challenging, with rules and logic that enhance my thinking skills. The card design is exquisite, with each card having its own unique attributes and effects, adding to the game's enjoyment and difficulty. Additionally, the UI design is also very beautiful, with a simple and natural style that feels comfortable. I particularly like the game's music and sound effects, as they fit the game's atmosphere perfectly, making the gaming experience more immersive.

Yanglin Tao: This is a very interesting game! I really like how the development team incorporated all the traditional card game elements into this mobile game. The melee attacks and the reward system are excellent and serve well for the purpose. Since this is a well-designed tactics game involving different rules, I think the backend involves a heavy workload but you guys have put effort into it and did a wonderful job. The background music is also very enjoyable and reminds me of some classic online card games.

Jack Liu: This is a good game with well-made game loop, attack effects and all kinds of cards. I really like the attack animation which is very smooth. You guys did a good job to make a AI that is clever enough to play with human players.

Nathan Cantu: The game seems like it could be someone's first card game. The concept is solid and I like the idea of combo cards on top of each other. I think if you added combo attack cards as well that could be really interesting. Also it’d be good if there was a visual cue when your attack phase is up and that you have to end it, or just ending it automatically. I could definitely see this as a mobile game

This game is like a simpler version of hearthstone, and it is really fun and easy to pick up. To make a card game, I think the most challenging part would be the AI for the opponents. I think you guys did a great job to make the AI smart enough to play against the player, and I am sure that you guys have spent so much time on that. You can unlock new cards for beating certain levels, and this rewarding mechanism is similar to the famous game, "Plants vs. Zombies". Overall, I like the Art Work, sound effects, and it is pretty cool of seeing someone actually built a card game at the end of this semester. Good Job, guys!

Nishma: I think it's really impressive that you guys were able to make a card game, and it seems like a very fun and simple game to play. I was confused with what the numbers on the card meant at first, but I realized there was a tutorial. I do think you guys could maybe add some more card variation and like powerups/rewards and stuff, but overall nice game and nice animations!

Deck builder reminiscent of wildfrost or slay the spire with the aesthetic of super auto pets. Great AI and good intuitive deck types. Honestly just a solid game through and through. I'm a fan of the damage animation but I wish there was variation depending on the card type like Legends of Runeterra.

I've never been a fan of card games because I was never good at coming up with strategies and tactics. But your game is super easy to play and approachable. I hope that in the future there will be a multiplayer version

Hah-Young Kim: I love the animations/transitions in the game! There's something really satisfying about the attack animation and all the other card animations. I like the game involves different strategies which makes each gameplay experience different

Suning: I feel it is very challenging to do this type of card game. It's great to see you guys making such a complete game experience. Also, a game flow like "Slay the Spire" makes the whole game more playable and the overall flow of the game more rich. The pre-made card sets are also very interesting.
